What is the Difference Between Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator and Email Authenticator?

Steam Guard offers two types of authentication: Mobile Authenticator and Email Authenticator. Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator: - Uses a mobile app (Steam Mobile App) to generate 6-digit verification codes. - Codes change every 30 seconds and are only valid for a short period. - Provides a higher level of security than email authentication. - Required to be enabled for at least 15 days to sell items on our platform. Steam Guard Email Authenticator: - Sends verification codes to your registered email address. - Codes are valid for a longer period (typically 15 minutes). - Provides a lower level of security than mobile authentication. - Not sufficient for selling items on our platform, even if enabled for more than 15 days. To sell items on our platform, you must have the Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator enabled for at least 15 days. The Email Authenticator alone does not meet our trading requirements.
